User Journeys and Wire Frames
Physical User Interface Design
Touch Point Innovation
User Experience and User Interface are the roots of what we do. We’re often asked: ”It’s all human factors isn’t it?”. To a large degree it is, but even those factors change, morph and evolve, especially in today’s fast accelerating tech environment. It’s a moving target and takes more than just a keen aim. It takes a depth of foresight, experience, innovation and the ability to stay ahead and anticipate consumer needs before they’re even aware of them.
Today’s Graphic User Interface (GUI) can be obsolete the moment it’s launched if the design team lacks that foresight. The GUI must be elegantly simple, intuitive, and work across many platforms and devices seamlessly, to provide the user with the continuity that meets—and exceeds—expectations. While more savvy, design aware and demanding than at any previous time in history, consumers have an abundance of choices. They know great design when they see it and the emotionally rewarding experience when they feel it. Whether digital or physical, consumer or professional, recreational or medical, the Graphic User Interface and the positive, rewarding experience it evokes defines RKS and its success in staying ahead of that curve.
